Sometimes you need to hold/freeze your memberships, we understand. Life happens, and we are here to help. That being said there are some things you need to know.
1. Taking time off of your training will affect your training and ranking progress as people tend to forget information over time. In some cases you may need to start back further away from your goal than when you left.
2. Freezing or Holding your membership will effectively extend the expiration date of your existing membership by the number of weeks you are away. This does not change your payment schedule and any payments that are due during your absence are still your responsibility to pay.
3. There is a service fee for freezing / holding a membership. At the time this article was written it is $1 per day plus any applicable taxes.
4. We do have a grace period of 14 days per Annual anniversary of the start date. e.g. if your membership started on April 1st 2024 your next free 14 days would be available April 1st 2025. These days are not transferable between accounts, memberships, renewal periods. If you do not use the 14 day grace period during your 12 month period they are lost.
How to Freeze/Hold your membership:
Memberships, generally, can now be frozen online using the student portal. After loging in and selecting the student in question, you can click the 3 dots in the top right corner of their active membership tile and select Freeze.
You will need to provide the start date and end date of your hold/freeze time. The hold/freeze will automatically start and end on the dates given once it has been set up in the system. (There is a maximum freeze time of 90 days per year)
If you have exceeded your grace period you will be taken to a checkout page to pay your additional fees.
Note: If your membership does not have the freeze option, please reach out to us so we can update your membership terms. This may involve signing new paperwork.
